*Girls Ice Hockey is a co-op w Algonquin, Nashoba, Marlboro and Hudson. Algonquin is the host school.   
        Parent/Player Meeting scheduled for Tuesday November 13th at 7pm  at Algonquin Regional HS
**Swim is a co-op with Nashoba. Nashoba is the host school.
        Parent/Player Meeting scheduled for November 15th at 6:30pm at Nashoba Regional HS

Co-op teams are determined by numbers of participants needed to have a full roster. Athletic fees are still paid to Hudson Athletics but practice/game schedules, equipment and uniforms are distributed by the host school. Only Grades 9-12 are eligible for the above cooperative teams. Important Meeting/Dates that require your attention:

Monday, October 15, 2018 – Online Registration for winter sports **OPENS**
Please note that we will have a NEW online registration system (www.mySchoolBucks.com). The link to MySchoolBucks will be available on the HHS Athletic website beginning at 8:00am on October 15, 2018.

Monday, November 19, 2018 – Online Registration for winter sports **CLOSES**
This will be the last day to register your student for a fall sport.


Wednesday, November 7, 2018, 7pm – MANDATORY for all WINTER SPORT participants
This will be an informational meeting for student-athletes and parents of athletes participating in a winter sport. Important information to include; concussion/head injury guidelines, MIAA rules and regulations, and Hudson High School’s policies and protocol. This meeting is mandatory for winter participants. The meeting will take place at the High School in the auditorium.

Winter head coaches and assistant coaches will be in attendance and will expect your participation in the respective sport-specific meetings taking place immediately following the presentation and Q&A. This is not only an opportunity for important introductions, but coaches will also address sport-specific policies, regulations and player/team expectations. 



Hudson High School student-athletes must have the following items on file in the Athletic Department on or before 12-noon on Monday, November 19th:

1. Physical Examination Form – MIAA Mandate:
A student-athlete becomes immediately ineligible to participate if the physical expires any time during the season. Please send a copy of the student-athlete's current physical via email to jlwinders@hudson.k12.ma.us or fax to: 978-567-6276.

2. Athletic Fee:
The athletic fee is $125.00 for Basketball, Cheerleading, Gymnastics, and Track and $250.00 for Ice Hockey. The fee must be paid before you are allowed to receive a uniform. Please contact the athletic department regarding athletic fee waivers.

3. Concussion Forms – National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) Mandate:
Parents must provide information to the school at the start of each sports season regarding any previous student-athlete head injury. Additionally, both parents and student-athletes MUST complete Concussion in Sports certification – the free online course is available at www.nfhslearn.com.

Please Note: The winter sports program will begin on Monday, November 26, 2018 for all teams.

The Athletic Handbook is included in the Student Handbook which all students received at the beginning of the school year. An online version can also be found on the HHS website under Parent/Student Resources. It is important that both student-athletes and parents read through it thoroughly.
