Welcome to Social Studies! 

6th Grade: Students are exploring Latin America. We are investigating the Inca, Aztec, and Maya people. What were these civilizations like? How do these civilizations still impact us today? Students' final assessment will be creating a board game with their knowledge that they've learned. 

7th Grade: We are learning about immigration. What "pushes" people from other countries? What "pulls" them into others? 

8th Grade: Students are going to be learning about nation through an educational game called for Crown or Colony. Students are given the role of "Nat" and have to figure out where they stand during the Revolution.
