Unit 4 - Inequalities

Students are learning how to solve multi-step inequalities, graphing linear inequalities, solving compound inequalities, and absolute value inequalities.

Midterm Test

Algebra students will be having their midterm test on December 17th and 18th during our normal class hour. The test will be broken up into two sections to ensure students get the same amount of time as the high school students taking the same midterm at Dowling.

Resources will be posted on Google Classroom the week following Thanksgiving Break. Additional information about the test and studying expectations will also be sent to families that same week.

Unit 4 - Dividing Fractions

Students are using models and traditional arithmetic to solve problems involving dividing fractions. This includes using area of rectangles to find a missing length and finding volume of rectangular prisms using smaller cubes. 

The test for this unit will be on December 3rd.
