Unit 7 - Polynomials
This unit is focused on operations (adding, subtracting, and multiplying) with polynomials and factoring of polynomials. The first quiz will be on Monday March 2nd and the unit test will be on Thursday March 12th.
This four leaf clover puzzle was an activity the algebra students completed to demonstrate their understanding of multiplying polynomials.

Unit 6 - Expressions and Equations
In this unit, students will be applying their understanding of arithmetic to reason with algebraic expressions and equations. Specifically, they will write and solve one step equations as well as draw diagrams to represent the equations. Students will also be learning about and applying the distributive property and extending their previous knowledge of exponents. The unit test will be on Wednesday March 4th.
