Description
A Social Commentary is similar to both a persuasive essay and an editorial in that the essay should be formally composed like a persuasive essay but also based primarily on personal experience and observation like an editorial. As the name of this type of essay suggests, students will choose an aspect of society about which to comment in an interesting manner based on their experiences with their chosen subject matter, meaning no research is necessary for this essay.
