In order to conduct classes effectively, please bring all you materials everyday, including your daily homework (many times we will use our homework to serve as a topic of class discussion, so it will also affect your class participation). Do make an effort to be on time for class as well, as lateness will result in disciplinary consequences. Also, if you know you are going to be absent, please let me know in advance so I can make the necessary accommodations. Finally, as per school policy, if you are sick or there is some other emergency, you will be given extra time to complete your assignments. In any case, please feel free to contact me via email, phone or in person after school for anything you consider is important to bring to my attention.
The grading policy will be divided in two categories, as per school policy:
- Assignments (includes class participation): 40%
- Assessments: 60%
