To be eligible for membership the candidate must:
  • be a member of the junior or senior class.
  • have a cumulative scholastic average of at least 90%
  • have taken a minimum of 50% of their courses at honors level or above during each year in high school (3.5 courses per academic year)
  • have no grade below 65%
  • have 10 hours of community service*
  • complete a candidate portfolio
  • complete a candidate interview with members of the faculty council
Selection for membership will be by majority vote of the Faculty Council and will be based on outstanding scholarship, character, service and leadership.  Input will also be given by members of the school faculty.
*Beginning with the Class of 2021, 15 hours of documented community service will be required. The service hours must be completed outside of the school day and be consistent over your high school years (though not necessarily with the same group or organization.)
