The discipline of psychology, which seeks to understand behavior and mental processes, can be used as a tool to understand and explain race and racism.  In this learning module, a few basic terms and concepts are explained in the context of the academic field of psychology research, in order to supply a vocabulary to that can be used to explain and discuss the psychology of race.
