LUNCH: NACHOS WITH MEAT AND CHEESE SAUCE AND DINNER ROLLS WITH BLACK BEANS

SELECT SENIOR ARTISTS WILL BE PRESENTING THEIR WORK IN THE ART DEPARTMENTS PREMIERE EVENT THIS MONDAY NIGHT

Come see the lineup of more than 30 artists work which will focus on the past 4 years of their creative learning process! It's this Monday night at 6:00pm. Desserts and punch will be served!

The Honeoye music department will be hosting the internationally known rock and roll group Brass Transit in concert on Thursday, April 19 at 7 PM in the auditorium. This group is the official tribute band to the rock and roll hall of fame group, Chicago. Our senior high and middle school jazz ensembles will open the performance. Tickets are just $5.00 to experience this award winning group. We hope to see you there!

Hey - Middle School Students - there is a Middle School Dance - Friday April 20th from 7-8:45.  The cost is $5 and refreshments (including crêpes) will be available. Get ready to dance the night away and enjoy some crêpes.  

Middle School Foreign Language Fun Club will meet this Thursday in Mr. Rellstab's room during lunch.  All middle school students who love languages and are in good academic standing are invited to attend.  Hope to see you there.

Congratulations to Markel Montgomery for being selected as the Honeoye Lake Rotary Club Middle School Student of the Month for March. Markel was nominated and then selected based on the traditions of Rotary, which are: modeling truthfulness, showing fairness, and building goodwill.  A certificate of recognition will be presented to honor this great work. Well done Markel!

Attention Seniors it is that time of year again, your opportunity to show off your creativity, See Mr. Williams this week to sign up for the 2018 Senior art show.  Opening night will be Monday April 23rd, see Mr. Williams for details.

The Business Department proudly announces the March Winner of the Business Student of the Month.  Freshman April Washburn is a student in Mrs. Campbell's Career Connections class this year.  April is dedicated, thoughtful, motivated and leads by example.  All of these are traits that employers are looking for.  If you see April in the hallway today, congratulate her!

If you are an advisor or a member of  middle school Youth to Youth, Art Club, Student Council, Foreign Language Fun Club or a member or advisor of high school Student Council, or National Honor Society - thank you and well done!  Through your efforts we raised a total of $1,100.00 for Water Filters for Puerto Rico. A big thanks to everyone for their dedication to helping others!

From high school student council:  Results from the box top competition are in.  In 4th place, with 34 boxtops, which may or may not have all come from Mr. Buckley, is the freshman class. Better luck next time. Juniors collected 150 box tops to take 3rd place.  Well done! Seniors brought in 211 box tops, taking 2nd place. The sophomore class takes the win with 327 box tops! Thank you all for helping our elementary library. We will be in touch with the sophomores for the pizza party soon!

Today is the LAST day that the lost and found will be on display in the lobby.  Even if you seen an item that is not yours but you think you could use it, please take it!  All items not claimed by the end of the day will be donated to charity.

From Mr. Wilkins: A reminder to all middle school jazz ensemble members-we will be rehearsing during lunch today.

To the cast and crew of THE ADVENTURES OF PETER RABBIT AND HIS FRIENDS

rehearsal will end at 5:00 today. The cast will meet on Saturday April 7 from 12-4.

Attention all students, PLEASE  see Mrs. Emmerling or Coach Stewart today to sign up to  work the Rally Round the Valley on April 14. Get a free volunteer shirt and earn community service hours too! ALL XC and Indoor Track athletes are expected to work OR be running that day. Only 2 weeks to go!

Good Luck to JV Tennis today as they head to Canandaigua for their first match of the season! 

Drum roll please....For the 4th and final time in his illustrious typing career, Senior Alex Morrison IS...THE FASTEST TYPER IN HONEOYE! He defeated fellow Senior, and new to the March Madness brackets, Lauren Jarosinski, who gave Alex a run for his money. Thanks to all who participated to make this another memorable and fun year of fast typing. For all of the underclassmen who have remained in the shadows from the Alex intimidation, start practicing now for your chance at the crown next year!

Reminder to any of Mrs. Walsh's students that have DNA days - don't forget to get your work from the classes you are missing.


And the stage is set for The March Madness Typing Competition Finale.  In Final Four Action, Lauren Jarosinski Defeated Kali Pestle and Alex Morrison took down Mrs Bricco.  Stay tuned tomorrow to hear who will be crowned THE FASTEST TYPER IN HONEOYE!

The Final Four of the March Madness Typing Competition is set.  Kali Pestle will square off against fellow senior Lauren Jarosinski.  Mrs. Bricco barely escaped the teacher bracket after a tie breaker with Mrs. Rose, which was very similar to the Duke/Kansas match-up this weekend, will try to knock out reigning Champion Alex Morrison.  Stay tuned to see who will make it to this years finals.  

There will be NO lunch in the gymnasium for the rest of the week.  Please enjoy your lunch in another location.

Compete against the other classes, and the winning class will get a pizza party!  Box tops help buy books for the elementary library, so donate to keep our children educated!!
