Middle School Foreign Language Fun Club and French 6th-grade lessons will both meet this Thursday during lunch in Madame's room. We will celebrate the end of the year. See Madame for a pass if you need to get lunch. All middle school students in good academic standing are invited to attend.


Your Mod A Softball team improved its’ record to 9-0-1 Monday night as it hosted Naples with a score of 15 to 10. Rylie, April, and Claire all had two hits a piece and Amber went 3 for 3 a the plate. Emma and Amber combined for the win with Amber striking out 7 batters. The Bulldogs travel to Naples tomorrow for a rematch against the Green Machine! The bus leaves at 2:45 for a 3:45 start time.

From the Yearbook Club: PREPAID yearbooks will be distributed during lunch today to Grades 7-11 by the Yearbook Club. The remaining books will be available on Tuesday, May 23 in the Counseling Center during lunch for $75.25. First come, first serve, no holds. Please bring payment for the exact amount.


There will be NO MS Art Club today due to preparations for the Sr. Art show.


Seniors: Please turn in your permission slip for Senior Picnic.


Your Mod A Softball team improved its’ record to 8-0-1 Friday night as it traveled to Dundee to defeat the Scots 26 to 4. Solid hits from Rylie, Emma H, April, Claire, Amber Jahira, Maddie Sarah, Lucia, Gracelyn, and Natalie all contributed to a very solid offense. Emma H and Rylie shut down their opponents, only allowing one hit all game and striking out 6 batters. The team faces Naples at home tonight at 4:30. Hope to see you there!


Congrats to Nate Longbine and Charlie Reitz for their fine showing in Individual Golf Sectionals at Penfield Country Club on Saturday. Both Nate and Charlie shot 99s on a tough course. Nate, Charlie, Zach Cornish, Jon Russell, and Gio Gullace all get to display their skills one more time this Thursday for team sectionals.


The Varsity Tennis Team will begin sectionals today with a home match versus Avoca. Please be on the courts at 3:00.

    Your Mod A Softball team got home late Wednesday night after a tough game at Marcus Whitman. Even after extra innings, they came away with a tie, as the score was 14 to 14. On offense, the team was led by Rylie and Amber, as they both went 3 for 3, one of Amber’s hits being a Homerun. Both of the Emma’s, Sarah, Heather and Claire had hits, as well. Rylie struck out 4 batters and Amber struck out 9. The team travels to Dundee on Friday.

Today is the day that some of you will have the chance to save many lives!
If you signed up to give blood please come to the LGI at your designated time with your pass. Times are posted on Mrs. Bricco’s door if you forget. Drink water all day today too! Please remember to bring your ID and 16 year-olds need the signed white parental permission slip. Continue to drink plenty of fluids all day and eat breakfast and lunch. Thank you to all who signed up to donate!



Sophomore Class lunch on Wednesday. We will supply the hot dogs. Bring a drink and other food you may want to eat for lunch. Hope to see all in the Class of 2019 on Wednesday.

BLOOMFIELD HIGH SCHOOL WILL BE OFFERING A SUMMER DRIVER EDUCATION PROGRAM AND ANTICIPATES OPENING FOR ANY INTERESTED HONEOYE STUDENT. THE PROGRAM RUNS FROM JULY 5TH TO AUGUST 2ND AND COSTS $425. SEE MS. GREENWOOD FOR MORE INFORMATION.

There will be no MS Art Club due to a meeting after school. We will meet during lunch today instead. You must get a pass and a foam tray unless you have a bag lunch. Come enjoy making altered books.

Congratulations to the middle school bands on a fantastic trip to Cedar Point this past weekend! The 6th grade band, 7/8 band, and middle school jazz band all received excellent ratings, with the 6th grade band and jazz band taking first place in their divisions. Thank you to all students for your outstanding musicianship and great behavior-you all represented Honeoye well and made us very proud!

From Mr. Wilkins: Middle school jazz ensemble will meet during lunch today. Bring your bagged lunch down to the band room right after 4th period-we will play, then eat.

Congratulations to Marah Palumbo for being selected as the Honeoye Lake Rotary Club Middle School Student of the Month for April. Marah was nominated and then selected based on the traditions of Rotary, which are: • modeling truthfulness, • showing fairness, and • building goodwill A certificate of recognition will be presented to honor this great work. Your Mod A Girls Softball Team continued its winning ways last night, beating HAC 20 to 16. Rylie and Emma combined for the win, striking out 10 batters. Amber led the Bulldogs at the plate, going 3 for 3 with a double, triple and a Homerun. Other Bulldog hitters were Rylie, Emma, Maddie, Claire, Heather and Jahira. Way to go ladies!
