  1. CONGRATS to this week's random acts of kindness winners. Please come to guidance to get your prize after announcements:
    • Brock Houser- for helping friends with homework
    • D'Shaun Robinson- for helping a teacher
    • Tyler Blystone- for being a good friend
    • Evan Ober- for giving a friend water
    • Connor Weaver- for offering to help carry boxes for a teacher
    • If you catch someone committing a kind act please nominate them by filling out a form and placing it in the envelope on the bulletin board across from Guidance.
  2. Attention all 10th grade students and AP Biology Students:  Please make sure you turn in your permission slips for the November 2nd field trip to CORE NO LATER than October 25th.  There is no cost for the trip, except to bring a lunch.  See Mrs. Adams or Mrs. Scott for more info.
  3. In guidance news today--
    • Seniors: If you are interested in attending the University of Dayton please see Mrs. Curci ASAP for a scholarship opportunity.
    • Attention 10th-12th graders: IUP Dual Enrollment applications are now available for the spring and summer semesters. Hard copies are available in Guidance. Apps are also available online at the web address on your screen.
    • Seniors:  Do you have a 3.5 or better GPA?  Did you score a 1200 or better on your SATs or a 26 or better on your ACTs?  If so, stop in the guidance office for a chance to receive a scholarship of up to $40,000!
  4. Breakfast today is cheesy scrambled eggs, bagel half, and peaches.
  5. Lunch is chicken strips, whipped potatoes, orange glazed carrots, mixed fruit, chilled peaches, and a dinner roll. You can also get a Chicken patty, PBJ, chef salad or pizza.
