Welcome back Client T!

Blow is another story of return clients. #returnclients

1. Client T started using us fortnightly from Feb of 2015. He had got to know us from one his friends.

2. One year later, Feb of 2016, he moved to another house and thought our price was a bit high after one clean.

3. He thought he can do it himself quicker than what we claimed. Of course he found a cheaper quote.

4. Sadly we lost an old client. Then Jan of 2017, he came back again!!! The cheaper cleaner did not work out, or did not work out for long.

5. We have been cleaning at his 3rd house now as of Aug of 2017. This time no question raised for price nor hours of cleaning.

Welcome back Client A!

It is very understandable that cheaper cleaners get more chance of trial runs. However, those who can provide better valued services maintain clients for long term. As a result, we do not give cheap price to attract clients. Customers who left us may come back some day. Below is one of the stories. #returnclients

Client A tried us once in May 2017 and asked for ongoing fortnightly price.

She then thought it was more than what she wished to spend and therefore want to try someone else.

And one month later, she came back with her feedback of comparison. Now she has been our fortnight client. Her comments are "We tried another cleaner that was a bit cheaper and although he was good it wasn’t at the same standard as your team."

Cook top cleaning

Last month we came across and cleaned this cook top. Although the loose parts on top can be easily put into dish washer, to remove the old oil marks was tough. To use a scourer is big NO NO and to use the right spray solution is the tip. Of course, best not to wait until this stage to start cleaning it - give it a quick wipe over when it is still warm after heating each day, is the simplest way.

Synthetic Chamois

synthetic chamois

From time to time clients ask us what kind of cleaning tools we use to get the amazing efficiency and result. Today we want to introduce synthetic chamois. They could be bought from local Bunnings stores, from $8.8 - smaller ones are cheaper.

Synthetic chamois is made of a unique material called PVA (Poly Vinyl Alcohol). It is well known for an auto cleaning tool but it can also be used to cool your skin in the summer or after a workout, dry your hair or pets, baby skin care etc.

We normally use chamois to wipe down mirrors, windows/glasses, or other surface requires drying water from. They won’t scratch. They are lint free. They can dry anything faster and easier.

Below is some information which you can easily find online by google “synthetic chamois”.

Before first use, rinse with warm water or in the washing machine. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Do not dry in the dryer. After use, rinse them well, wring out, and place back in tube damp (or a self-seal bag (if you do not have a tube). Its anti-mould and mildew technology will prevent rotting and extend the life of the product.

If you allow it  to air dry, it will become stiff – but it is no big deal. Simply re-hydrate it in warm water and it will spring back to life and be ready to use. Routine washing is highly recommended. If you repeatedly place a soiled chamois in its tube, it will still work, but may acquire an odor or grow mildew. With proper care they can last for years.

How to compare the price for your end of lease cleaning?

It is very necessary but not easy to find the best value when you come to compare the price for your end of lease cleaning requirement. Why? A vacate cleaning job usually is heavy duty, especially for big houses. Therefore the price is not cheap for it is nature. If you home is in normal condition, you do not have to consider professional grout and tile cleaning or the cost of repaint the walls. To get a business who can do general cleaning, window cleaning and carpet cleaning can save your time.

When comparing a quote for an end of lease cleaning, be SMART not to fall into a lowest price trap with not all your cleaning requirements met. When you get a super cheap price, ask some questions. Make sure everything required by your real estate agent or the landlord is within the service scope if you are not planning to do part of the cleaning yourself. Otherwise your attempt to save might result in big loss considering the time it might involve to rectify. Remember, you are seeking a cleaning SERVICE, not a standard product which you can simply pick the lowest price for. Some cheap cleaners usually do not do outside cleaning including the outside of windows, nor fly screens. Some real estate agents normally give a limited timeline (for example 24 hours) for you to redo the cleaning when the satisfaction is not met. If you are too busy to manage, it would be easier to leave to trustworthy cleaning businesses to do it for you without any risk of bond deduction.
