Welcome to the art room students and parents.  The art room itself is number 132 in the middle school wing of the main building.  My phone number is:  503-283-5197 x132. Please feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions, concerns or ideas.  You can also reach me via e-mail:  I am most happy to dialogue with you.

I am always collecting things for the art room including:  small boxes, adhesives, wire,  buttons, pencils, and erasers etc.  If you are cleaning out a closet or a drawer please remember your friendly Holy Redeemer art room!

Fall 2014:  Happy Thanksgiving from the art room!  We have been working on origmi in all the classes.  We studied the art of Junior Fritz Jacquet and made an attempt to replicate his toilet paper roll masks in grades 1 -8.  We also made origami puppies with Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and K-2 classes.  This week Kindergarten and First grade made awesome origami turkeys.  They were so popular that I promised to post the link here for you that want to try it at home.  They are actually pretty easy to make.

Holy Redeemer is blessed with a diverse population of extremely talented, energetic, and creative young people.  I want to thank you, parents, for loaning them to me for art class.  I am so appreciative of my opportunity to teach art to such eager young folk!
