We combined two solids, ice cream and Oreo cookies to make a mixture during Science class. The students concluded that this mixture was a physical change because the matter only changed its shape and size but had the same amount of mass.

Moby Max Fact Fluency
Mastery of addition and subtraction facts is an important math skill to possess to prepare for double and triple digit regrouping later in the year.   Your child should practice his/her addition facts daily for 10 minutes on Moby Max.  After the addition facts are mastered, the program will automatically begin testing the subtraction facts.  My goal is to have the class reach 100% mastery of addition and subtraction by January 1, 2018.

Make sure to click on the "row of books" (see the arrow on the first picture above) when entering the Moby Max website.  Then choose the Fact Fluency practice (see the second picture) to begin the daily 10 minute skill practice.

Watch us in action!
