End of 2nd Trimester

All student grades will be available to view by close of day on Friday. Please make sure you review these reports and discuss them with your children.  You will be able to view all report cards via OptionC using the Parent/Guardian accounts only.

As you discuss the grades, help your child set a 3rd trimester goal for improvement in some or all areas - help them be specific and commit to effort to grown. If, as you review grades, you have questions or concerns please reach out to your classroom teacher. I am confident our teachers are well prepared to help you help your child grown and improve. This may require a face to face meeting or phone conferences. Our staff at every level from classroom to my office, will be happy to communicate and meet to support the growth of our students…simply contact us!

Beginning on Friday 3/22 and going through Friday 3/29 all students in grades 3-7 will be taking important standardized exams called the Terra Nova. The test will cover all core subjects and be filled with both success and challenge for every student.

If your child is a test taker, please help them to deliver their best work and effort. Your support will insure they arrive each day at school well rested and filled with healthy energy is key. Additionally, your conversations should be about perseverance - your child will know some answers, not know others and with effort be needed to be able to solve other questions and problems. Your home conversations will help and provide them motivation to “keep trying”.

Finally, remind your child, as I will often, that the prayers to the Holy Spirit can be a great source of calm and support - so remind your child to say a few prayers as they move through these tests!

Please make every effort to limit outside appointments to insure 100% attendance.
