Hello friends and families!

    • We did such a great job with our readers last week, we will be doing another reader this week. Please practice with your child at home and return the reader back to school the next day. I hope you are enjoying hearing our awesome reading!

    • We are up to 4 sight words this week. Please make sure your child is practicing our sight words each night on their sight word ring. Check out the sight word tab for many fun ways to practice!

    • Bb Show and Tell on Friday. Please remind your child to find one on Thursday night!

    • On Friday we will be having a Beautiful Button's Day. Your child can wear dress down clothes with as many buttons as they can! We will be counting up how many buttons our class has on and challenging the other kindergarten class to see who can wear more.

    • February hot lunch, milk and pretzel orders are due by Monday, January 28th.

    • On Sunday, January 27th Catholic School's Week begins with an Open House from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. All are welcome to come check out our school and classroom. If you know anyone who is looking for Kindergarten next year, please share the open house details!

On Friday two items were sent home in blue folders:

  1. Scholastic Book Orders- I will be placing the order on Friday, January 25. If you would like to order books, please place your order online or send in the form by Friday.
  2. Aston Library's Annual Bookmark Contest- If your child would like to participate, they can design their own bookmark and send it back into school. Please follow the directions on the front of the sheet. I will be delivering them to the library on Monday, February 25th. You can hand it in to the library yourself or send it in and I will walk them over on Monday to make sure they are all in by the deadline.
