2022/2023 Pizza Contest 

 Every year for the past 20 years we have had a pizza contest at the High School and it has become a real school event. Students (no matter what focus) will make classic pizza with chef Harkness and then compete against each other groups for the best Holmdel Pizza!

Trophies will be awarded to the winning group.

            Semester:One 2022/2023 School Year

            We will be focusing on China this semester. Students will have an opportunity to explore the different provinces of China. We will be focusing on Classic appetizers and dumplings, pasta and sauces, soups and broths along with Chinese Entrees and desserts. Our focus will be on traditional Chinese cooking and techniques. WE will make some of China's greatest national dishes including Mao's Red braised pork.

            Semester Two: 2022/2023 School Year

                This semester the focus will be on Eastern Europe. We will focus on Hungary, Poland, Albania and Czech Republic.  Students will explore the regions throughout Eastern Europe focusing on the National dishes of these countries. We will be looking at climate, topagraphy, migration and  many other factors that create a cuisine.

So many students have been inspired over the years and have become Industry leaders in the Hospitality Industry. Being a graduate of The Culinary institute of America, students get a professional Chefs approach to cooking and eating in the 21 st. Century.
