Physics Class Robots for Heifer International

Update: We won! But not because of a bot sale, in fact we sold none, in spite of the good cause. Our story inspired some of the students to work this weekend to raise Money.

At Holland Christian High School, we have been participating in a fundraiser to raise money for Heifer International, a charity that donates livestock to people around the world who are in need. Our goal is to raise $5,000, enough to purchase a Gift Ark. A Gift Ark contains 15 pairs of animals, and the idea is to provide families with generations of livestock which they can share with other families as well. This will provide not just one cow, but sustainability and a source of income for several families!

Our Physics class has been building robots as a class project. We decided that we would sell our robots in order to raise money to reach our goal. We would like to sell our bots for $100 each or however much the buyer(s) would like to donate. Please consider purchasing a robot or making a donation to help us help others!

Buy a bot. Give a cow. Feed a family.

Pass on the gift. Heifer International.
