If a student has a temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius or 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit, he/she should not come to school and must be fever free and symptom free for 48 hours before returning to school.
Students may not carry medications with them during school hours.
Medications should be brought to the health office in a bag or container with the student's name and instructions on administration. This doesn't apply to emergency medications such as asthma inhalers, Epi-Pens and diabetic supplies. Click here for a medication administration form to send in with the medication.
HKIS requires all students to have a physical exam completed on admission to the school and upon entry to each division. Additionally, a health history form is required on admission. To make sure I have the most current information on you child please update these forms as necessary.
