"My Study Options at HKU” - 生涯規劃在港大

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will present the "My Study Options at HKU” series in March 2017 enabling students to explore their interests and to get a better understanding on the professions and career that they enter upon graduation at an earlier stage. The talks are especially beneficial for students who wish to pursue professional degrees at undergraduate level. By attending the talks, they will be able to plan ahead for their undergraduate studies and future career.

Secondary 3 to 5 students and their parents are cordially invited to attend the talks, with the following schedule:

24 March 2017 (Friday) 18:30-20:30 Law Speaker: Ms. Alice Lee, Associate Professor & Associate Dean on Academic Affairs
  • What does it mean (and take) to study law as undergraduate
  • How does Law different from other disciplines? 
  • What you could expect to study law at HKU?
25 March 2017 (Saturday) 14:00-16:00 Medicine Speaker: Dr. Gilberto Leung, Clinical Associate Professor & Assistant Dean on Student and Trainee affairs
  • What is health? 
  • What does a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or medical scientist do to keep us healthy? 
  • What you could expect to study Medicine at HKU?

Each session will include a general admissions talk which gives basic admissions information for getting into HKU, and information on the professions of respective disciplines. HKU professors, staff and students will also share their experiences and give advice on career and life planning. Please refer to the enclosed posters for more details.
