M+ Summer Camp 2017

posted 16 May 2017, 19:35 by Jackie Yun Kiu Wong   [ updated 16 May 2017, 19:38 ]
Taking place from 13 to 16 August at the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Jockey Club Sai Kung Outdoor Training Camp, this year’s M+ Summer Camp features the theme ‘Nerve’, which encourages young people to fully engage their senses to respond to stimuli from everyday life, and ultimately turn experience into creativity. ‘Nerve’ also means courage—the camp aims to encourage participants to embrace uncertainties, get curious and dare to be different.

In the camp, creative practitioners of visual art, design, architecture, illustration and moving image will explore, experiment, play, and work together with student participants on creative practices and cross-disciplinary topics, through which the participants’ ability to make connection with various forms of arts, people and the world, would be nurtured.

The camp targets local students from Secondary 4 to Secondary 6 to join. No prior knowledge of arts and crafts required. You can click on the eDM for more details.
