Autism Friendly Cinema screenings

Once a month every cinema will show an autism friendly screening of a children’s movie; this is great for all ages and family members to attend and is targeted at those with a child with ASD or disability. The screenings differ from the usual mainstream as there are no adverts before the film is shown , the lights are raised slightly and the sound is lowered; also if your child swops seats or talks during the performance then this is ok. This is also a good chance to meet other families with children with ASD. This months screenings are:

Vue Cinema, Birkenhead & Cheshire Oaks will be showing Inside out on Sunday, 25th October at 10:00am (just £1.99 a ticket!)

The Light Cinema, New Brighton will be showing Pixels on Sunday, 25th October at 10:30am (just £3 a ticket!)

Cineworld, Liverpool – will be showing Hotel Transylvania 2 on Sunday, 1st November at 11:00am.

FACT Cinema, Liverpool – will be showing Song of the Sea at 11:30am and also Who Frames Roger Rabbit also at 11:30am this Sunday, 18th October.

Showcase Cinema, Liverpool – will be showing Pan on Sunday, 8th November at 10:00am.

Families have recently asked for information on 'You Tube' restriction settings.

Please see the link below for information.

https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/174084?hl=en-GB

Restricted Mode is an opt-in setting available on the computer and mobile site that helps screen out potentially objectionable content that you may prefer not to see or don't want others in your family to stumble across while enjoying YouTube. You can think of this as a parental control setting for YouTube.
