Louisa Bay Shark Bay - Dirk Hartog Island 25 46.821S 113 05.351E Open to NE and some rocks on shore. Some good areas of clean sand amongst areas of coral and weed.
Notch Point Shark Bay - Dirk Hartog Island 25 56.55S 113 10.03E A nice sand beach with interesting cave. Site of old pearling camp. Can be rolly with Easterly.
Notch Point West Shark Bay - Dirk Hartog Island 25 56.536S 113 09.780E A shallow but protected spot in all but N to NW. A pleasant sand beach. Better than Notch Point for overnight.
Quoin Bluff South Shark Bay - Dirk Hartog Island 25 53.34S 113 09.46E Can be shallow, with 3 or 4 sand banks running parallel to beach. Good in an Easterly. Site of a small garrison in 1853.
Tetrodon Loop Shark Bay - Dirk Hartog Island 25 57.520S 113 09.113E An excellent place to shelter in a blow. The entrance is shallow but once inside there is plenty of water 2-2.5metres deep.
Big Lagoon Shark Bay - Peron Peninsula 25 46.72S 113 28.56E Well sheltered from all points. Very shallow at entrance until channel found.
Castle Well Hill Shark Bay - Peron Peninsula 25 35.58S 113 26.41E Exposed to NW but a broad shallow bank gives protection. Clean sand beach on high tide. A favourite.
