Millcreek-West Unity School District (Hilltop) is located in Northwest Ohio approximately 50 miles west of Toledo, in Williams County.  The Village of West Unity with approximately 1,600 residents  and the Village of Alvordton with approximately 250 residents comprise the MWU School District, the district also includes portions of Brady, Jefferson, and Millcreek Townships.  The district comprises approximately 50 sq. miles.  

The Ohio Turnpike is approximately one mile north of the school district and three major highways, US 127, US 20-A, and SR 191 intersect within the village limits.  Higher education is well served in the area by the University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University, Defiance College, Owens Community College and Northwest State Community College as well as Adrian College and Hillsdale College in Michigan and several colleges in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The School District  has an approximate student enrollment of 630 students in K-12.  This is broken down as 350 Elementary students, and 280 JH/HS students.  In January 2010 the students began the calendar year in a new school facility built with State and Local Monies which were secured through the successful passage of a bond levy. The district operates one instructional building, a bus/maintenance facility, athletic facility including softball and baseball field along with concession stand and restroom facility.  Students are offered a quality educational program Kindergarten through grade 12 with students able to take advantage of College Credit Plus Options.

We are a small school with K-12 housed in a single building that pride ourselves on the quality of teaching we give to our students.
