HIGHLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL RECYCLES

YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE FROM SCHOOL OR FROM HOME!

LOOKING FORWARD TO ANOTHER GREAT YEAR OF SERVICE HMS!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

*So far this school year we have recycled nearly 5,395 pounds of paper in total!  (updated 5/30/24)

*Since September of 2015, HMS students have recycled approximately 37,589 pounds of products!

*Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2023 HMS yard clean up.  Middle School Volunteers worked with Abby Costilow (Watchershed Education Coordinator from the Medina County Water & Soil Conservation District) and Jenny Brothers (7th grade science teacher) to remove nearly 300 pounds of trash off of school grounds!

*Thanks You to everyone who came out to the 2018 fall beach clean up!  Highland middle school students worked with community members from a local collect program and the Cleveland Metropark's Zoo Crew.  Most participants were surprised at how clean the beaches initially looked, but then we collected approximately 150 pounds of containers, micro-plastics, and much more!
