Immunization Reminder

posted Jul 25, 2018, 11:19 AM by Danielle Tuepker

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Higbee R-VIII School District would like to remind you that State law and health regulations require students to be properly immunized and provide verification to attend school, unless they have an appropriate exemption card on file. Children attending school must be immunized against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, meningococcal, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B and varicella. All students are required to provide documentation that includes the month, day and year the vaccine was administered. Missouri School Immunization Law prohibits children who are not in compliance with the immunization law from attending school

If your child has had the immunization noted below, please send or bring a record from a medical provider no later than 08/14/2018. Vaccines and records can be obtained from your local health department or family physician’s office. Please call the school nurse of Higbee R-VIII, Mrs. Andrea Arends, with any questions.
