Welcome to: Student Support Center

Welcome to the Student Support Center at Henry Ford Academy Elementary School! We are your Title 1 Reading Intervention Specialists, your extended family partners. Our goal is to provide your child(ren) with additional time and support in an effort to improve and increase his/her overall achievement in reading. We look forward to interacting with you and your child during this fun–filled 2016-2017 academic school year!

My name is Tatianna Brooks! I am the K-2 Reading Interventionist here at HFA. I attended Cass Technical High School where I studied music. I am a graduate of Michigan State University where I received my Bachelors of Arts in Education. I will be receiving my Masters in Reading Education in April of 2017 from Wayne State University.

I enjoy vacationing with my husband and two children, shopping, and reading. I also own a summer tutoring business where I teach preprimary children literacy foundational skills. I am excited to be working with our young scholars in reading this year!

 Yours truly,
