Rights Respecting Schools

What's it all about? Click here for more information.

In brief, in 1991, Britain signed the UNCRC (The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child). This convention sets out 42 rights that children across the world should have. It is our aim, as a school, that children know about these rights and have these rights met, whilst respecting and valuing them. The rights are known as articles.

The School Council asked you for your say on what Articles from the United Nations Convention for the Rights of the Child you felt should be added to our school charter. Thank you for your votes. Here are the 10 you chose.
