Teen Maze, 2018
The Coalition brought a Teen Maze event to the 9th graders of Fayette County during April of 2018. This interactive event was a reality check for Fayette County youth and gave insight into how choices made today affect future health and goals. Students were dropped into situations, presented with choices, and then faced with the emotional, physical, and financial consequences of the future. Scenario-driven skills focused on body image/self-esteem, first impressions, nutrition, bullying, sexual health/healthy relationships, social media, suicide prevention, financial literacy, parenting, substance abuse and legal consequences. To get involved with Teen Maze come to a meeting or contact Jen Kimber: firstname.lastname@example.org
