Welcome to Mrs. Moore's and Mme Al-Hallis' Website!

Welcome everyone! We are looking forward to an exciting year teaching and working with our students and parents!

Mrs. Moore has taught grades 4, 5, and 6 here at Palermo for the last 6 years! I have been teaching for 14 years and have taught grades 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. I am extremely excited to be teaching Grade 3 and 4 with my fantastic French teaching partner Mme Al-Hallis! I will be teaching English, Math, Health, and Art. Throughout this year our class will grow and get to know each other, and become a supporting community of learners. I can't wait to begin the journey with you and your child!

Mme Al-Hallis has taught grades 2 to 8 at Charles R Beaudoin PS for 10 years and 1 year at Tom Thomson PS in Burlington. The last two years I have taught French, English  and Swedish at a high school in Sweden.  I am originally Romanian ethnic minority from Serbia.  I did study in Serbia, Sweden, France, Tunisia and Canada. I am delighted to be joining the team at Palermo PS and teach French, Science, and Social Studies to Grade 3 and 3/4 French Immersion students together with my wonderful English teaching partner Mrs Moore. I look forward to meeting you and to the great year ahead of us!
