Week of May 7 - May 11, 2018.  *Children's Mental Health Week*

Mental Health Awareness Week is a nation wide event that allows us to educate ourselves, and raise awareness surrounding mental health and mental illness.
HDSB is a proud supporter of Mental Health Awareness week and have various activities happening at each site throughout the week. Some of the events are including: wellness walks, creating a wellness wall, lunch potlucks, and staff and students participating in a 5km walk/run for mental health.
It’s more than being happy all the time. It’s about feeling good about who you are, having balance in your life, and managing life’s highs and lows.
Everyone deserves to feel well, whatever their mental health experience. And we all need a support system to lean on.
