Use the Elementary Internet Tools page to to access on-line databases, encyclopedias, recommended sites, etc.  Use your school log- in and password to access from home.
Use the Halton Inquiry Process (Focus, Explore, Analyze and Share) to help you plan and conduct your inquiry projects.
As you conduct research for your inquiry projects, keep track of where you obtained your information.
Create a bibliography using proper MLA or APA format.  Use the EasyBib add-on to help.

Search the Aldershot School Library for fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, streaming videos and more.
Can't find a book at our library?  Consider checking out the Halton District School Board Digital Library  for ebooks and audiobooks.

To sign out an eBook or Audiobook:
- Install the Overdrive App (free) on your device 
- For first time access, click Add a Library and search for Halton District School Board
- search for book
- use your student card to BORROW the book
- download the book
- Go to Overdrive menu (four horizontal lines in upper left corner) and select your eBook for reading

Red Maple Reading Club
Grad 7 and 8 students are invited to help select the Ontario Library Association's Red Maple Book Award. The 2018 books have arrived - look for them by the windows in the fiction section of the library!
