Welcome to the Me to WE Club

What is WE?
WE is a movement that brings people together and gives them the tools to change the world. Together, we can shift the world view from “me” to “we.”

We are finishing up our research projects for Black History Month. Stay tuned for our bulletin board display and book (that will be available in our library to be signed out).

Here is some background information about this campaign:

WE Villages’ has five pillars:
  • Education
  • Water
  • Health
  • Food
  • Opportunity
Each pillar is a critical component in breaking the cycle of poverty. Depending on how much we raise, we will be able to provide...school supplies, pay school tuition, provide clean water or healthcare, or food or business opportunities for a family.

We will also be making Valentines Cards for Birkdale Place on Feb. 13th. Gr. 4 and 5 students are welcome to join us in the Library 1st part of 1st break to help make the cards.

Are you a young person with something meaningful to say?
Neel, an eight years old who lives in Canada, started this site because "I sometimes see things around me that make me feel sad about the world.  Then I remember, there is much more good then bad, and everyone can make a difference, even and maybe especially, kids.  That's why I want ALL kids to see themselves as great kids."
