Welcome to second grade! I am excited to have a fantastic year of learning in Room D. Click on these links to access our What to Expect Night slides and the weekly homework sheet.
This is my fourth year at South and my fifteenth "official" year in Hillsborough (I contracted to HCSD prior to that). Before returning to full-time teaching, I spent fourteen years as an educational consultant specializing in private tutoring in decoding, reading comprehension, and organization. I primarily worked with students who learn differently. Prior to that, I taught Kindergarten - third grade at ASSETS School in Honolulu, middle school at Charles Armstrong School in Belmont, and - very briefly - resource classes at Bayside Middle School in San Mateo.
