Welcome to Sandy Grove Elementary, home of the Doves!

My school.  My community.  My world.
I can make a difference.

Sandy Grove Elementary is a diverse community of engaged teachers, learners, and families who strive to meet the high expectations of each unique learner.  We will foster involvement within the community while shaping learners who are globally prepared to meet the demands of the 21st century and make a positive impact on the world.

Our mission is to establish independent learners who are contributing citizens embracing life-long learning in a global community.  We strive to build strong relationships with all family and community members in order to have all stakeholders contribute to the growth of every student.  Our students will be technologically literate, critical thinkers prepared for a fast paced, ever changing world.

We grow best in personal responsibility and self-worth in a school characterized by trust, honesty, and mutual respect among students and teachers.
We acknowledge and appreciate different learning styles.
We have an enthusiasm for life-long learning and the pursuit of knowledge.
We encourage others to express opinions, take risks, challenge and value the contributions and efforts of everyone.
We will handle failure like we handle success.
