 Hoke County Schools Child Nutrition Services is honored to be a part of the National School Breakfast, School Lunch and Afterschool Snack Programs.  We pride ourselves on playing a major role in the educational success of our students.  Children cannot learn if they are hungry, therefore while adhering to the guidelines set forth by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), a variety of nutritious, delicious meals are offered to students each day for breakfast and lunch. 

A Free and Reduced Meal Application must be submitted each school year to determine if your child(ren) qualifies for free or reduced priced meals.  In an effort to allow all of our students access to these healthy, nutritious meals, Hoke County Schools Superintendent and the Board Of Education has once again voted to not increase meal prices for the    

    2016-2017 School Year.   The Meal Prices are:

 

Breakfast Prices: (Grades PreK  - 12th)

Full Paid Price                                  $.60

Qualify for Reduced Price            Free

Qualify for Free                             Free

Milk Price w/o Meal                      $.50

 

Lunch Prices:

            Full Paid Price             $1.35 (PreK - 5th grade)

                                               $1.60 (6th – 8th grade)

                                                  $1.75 (9th – 12th grade)

Qualify for Reduced Price            $ .40

Qualify for Free                              Free

Milk Price w/o Meal                      $ .50

 

Afterschool Snacks Prices: (Grades PreK – 12th)

Full Paid Price                                  No Charge

Qualify for Reduced Price            No Charge

Quality for Free                              No Charge


Thanks to the Exciting Federally Funded Program called Community Eligibility Provision (CEP),

all students attending CEP  Schools (listed below) will receive breakfast and lunch at NO CHARGE for the 2016-2017 school year.

Households that have a child(ren) who only attend CEP Schools,  DO NOT have to submit a Free and Reduced Meal Price Application for the 2016-2017 school year.  Households that have children attending NON-CEP schools MUST submit a Free and Reduced Meal Application for the 2016-2017 school year, which also must list any child(ren) who attends a CEP school as part of the household.
