Curriculum
Grades 4-12 - ESL Reading Smart

Required

EL students in grades K-12, who are not reclassified, must engage in 90 minutes of grade level ELD each week (30 minutes, 3 times per week is recommended.) 
Reading Eggs students must complete between 3-5 lessons each week to achieve the 90 minute goal. 
ESL Reading Smart students must complete between 2 or more lessons each week to achieve the 90 minute goal.


ELD High School Course

Curriculum: 2 options
1. ESL Reading Smart Curriculum 
  • 2.5 credits per semester
  • can be repeated each semester
  • elective credit
