Friday, June 1st       Graduation Practice (mandatory)           Time 10:40 a.m.  Auditorium

Seniors will report to the auditorium.   Students will have assigned seats (alphabetically) beginning on the first row in the middle section of the auditorium. 


Wednesday, June 6th       Graduation Practice (mandatory)     Time 1:30 p.m.  Auditorium

Seniors will report to the auditorium.   Students will have assigned seats (alphabetically) beginning on the first row in the middle section of the auditorium. 


Thursday, June 7th        Graduation Practice (mandatory)              Time 1:30 a.m. Auditorium

Report to your assigned seat in the Auditorium to practice for the Senior Awards Ceremony and graduation.  After practice, each graduating senior will receive 10 graduation tickets (2 field tickets, 8 tickets for stands). No guests can attend graduation without a ticket.  NOTE:  If you have extra graduations tickets that you do not plan to use, please return them to the counseling office so they can be re-distributed.                 

         

Friday, June 8         Senior Awards Program                        8:30 a.m. Auditorium

Seniors report to the OLD GYM in cap & gown by 8:00 a.mAttire for the Senior Awards Program and Graduation:  Ladies should wear black dress shoes and an appropriate skirt/blouse or dress under the gown.  Gentlemen should wear dark dress shoes, dress slacks, and a white or light dress shirt with a dark tie or bow tie.

 

Friday, June 8         EHHS Graduation                     7:00 p.m. E. L. Justus Stadium                                                                                                       Report to the auditorium and be in your assigned seats no later than 6:00 p.m.   Be sure that you have your cap, gown, and tassel and are dressed appropriately when you arrive.  Please arrive earlier to avoid parking issues.

East Henderson High School Graduation Contract:  Seniors 2018


We, the senior class of 2018, recognize that graduation is a formal ceremony of decorum.  We wish for our graduation to be a prestigious event remembered for years to come. It is for this reason that we agree to the following terms:


Before participating in the graduation ceremony:

  • Students who have (5) or more absences in any class (per semester) will have to complete ALL make-up hours.

  • Any and all fines or obligations must be cleared.

  • Attend all graduation practices.

We will:

  • Arrive on time (no later than 6:00 pm.)

  • Be alcohol and drug free.

  • Be dressed appropriately.

  • Applaud appropriately.

  • Abide by all Henderson County Public Schools rules.

Required appropriate dress is defined as:

  • Collared white shirt, dark tie and black slacks with black dress shoes preferred for male students.

  • Skirt, dress, or dress slacks with black wedge or black flat dress shoes for female students.

  • No jeans or shorts.

  • Appropriate shoes must be worn (no athletic shoes, work boots, flip flops, etc. Please no high heels or other shoes that will damage our turf)

  • Within guidelines of the dress code.

Unacceptable behavior before, during, or after the ceremony is defined as, but not limited to:

  • Inappropriate public behavior (e.g., gymnastics, pranks, obscene gestures, yelling, bringing toys, noise makers, flying objects, throwing objects, etc.)

  • Intentional damage to property.

  • Any violation of the rules of Henderson County Public Schools in accordance with the Student/Parent Handbook and the Code of Conduct.


Failure to comply with the requirements above will result in loss of privilege to participate in the graduation ceremony and/or disciplinary penalties/consequences.  Any disciplinary penalties/consequences, including required community/school service, must be completed before the student receives his/her diploma.


 I, _______________________________, as a member of the East Henderson High School Class of 2018, will abide by the

Provisions of this contract and will encourage my peers to do the same in order to ensure a ceremony with dignity.  I understand that failure to comply with this contract and the rules of Henderson County Public Schools may result in my immediate dismissal from the ceremony or school and disciplinary penalties/consequences.  In addition, I may be denied entrance to Project Graduation Celebration.
