Billie-Renee Knight

Billie-Renee Knight is the chairperson for the world languages department, teaches Spanish 2, 3, 4, 5 & AP and French 3 & 4.  She also sponsors National Honor Society and International Club. Ms. Knight received her BSED in Spanish and English from Montana State University-Billings in 1991, her MAED in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix in 2008 and an MAED in teacher leadership in 2010. She is beginning her 24th year at Hayden. 

She enjoys traveling with students to various European destinations. In 2017 she shared Paris, Madrid, and Rome with a select group of Hayden students. She especially enjoyed visiting Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and the Vatican in Rome. She is looking forward to the upcoming 2019 tour to Italy and Greece with Mrs. Sutton. She is getting ready to take some classes in Greek to prepare!

Outside of school activities and working to improve her language skills in Russian & Welsh, Ms. Knight is an avid reader,  writer, and photographer. She belongs to numerous writing groups and is a published author. 

She enjoys doing animal advocacy work and spending time with her furry companions - Pumpernickel (beagle); Pepper Jackson (corgi), her cats Hathor, Hermes, Sweet, Monkee, Dobby the Housecat & her newest addition Hechicero.
