Angela Herman has taught at Hayden since 2000. She is a graduate of Hayden (class of 1992) and a graduate of Benedictine College. Hayden has been a family tradition beginning with her dad graduating in 1948, her sister in 1986, and four nephews in the classes of 2011, 2016, and 2020. Hayden has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. She grew up going to football and basketball games and experiencing early the pride, tradition, and faith of the Hayden family and the larger Catholic community in Topeka. She grew up a member of St. Joseph parish and is still active in the Sacred Heart/St. Joseph community today.
Angela teaches senior theology, junior theology, freshmen theology, faith in action, as well as serves as the theology department chair. She is also the student council adviser. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her handsome and happy dog Hank. She loves to travel, shop, cheer on her favorite sports teams, and go on adventures.
