Ms. Angela M. Herman

2018-2019 is my 19th year at Hayden Catholic High School, but Hayden has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.  My dad graduated from here in 1948 as well as my sister, myself, three of my nephews so far, and many other family members throughout the years.  We grew up coming to football and basketball games and being a part of the larger Hayden family and Catholic community of Topeka.  I grew up at St. Joseph Parish but am currently a member of Christ the King Parish and leader of the RCIA team at CTK.  I am truly blessed to be able to share my faith every day with my students.  This is certainly my dream job and my vocation realized.  This year I will be teaching senior theology (peace and justice), freshmen theology (New Testament), faith in action, as well as being the theology department chair.  I also serve as the student council adviser.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my two rescue beagles, Lou Lou and Hank, and I love to travel, shop, spend time with friends and family, cheer on my favorite sports teams, and go on adventures.
