    The Chicago Area SIAM Student Conference (CASSC), an event organized by  the Illinois Institute of Technology, Northwestern University, and University of Illinois at Chicago SIAM Chapters, is aimed at promoting Applied Mathematics among the youngest research community.  This year the event will be held in Chicago at the Illinois Institute of Technology Main Campus. Young investigators who want to expand their professional network, learn novel methods in their field, and participate in engaging scientific discussions in topics related your research should plan to attend. 

    In addition, at this year's conference we will visit Argonne National Laboratory -  one of the most important laboratories in the United States, hosting Blue Gene,  a supercomputer  that is among the fastest in the world!
