The University of Hawai'i Maui College is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Senior College and University Commission. As part of the re-accreditation process, a team of WASC committee members visits the college to ensure that accreditation standards are being met. In preparation for this on-site visit, UHMC has submitted the following documents, all of which are hyperlinked below.

In addition to reviewing the materials already submitted, team members will be holding a series of open meetings and closed small-group interviews with UHMC students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community members.

·         Wednesday, (4/2) 3:30pm-4:15pm (KA'A'IKE 105) OPEN COMMUNITY meeting for all UHMC and Maui community members

·         Thursday, (4/3) 8:15am-9am (IKE LEA 102) OPEN STAFF meeting for all APT, O&M, and civil service employees  

·         Thursday, (4/3) 11:15pm-12pm (LAULIMA 225) OPEN EMPLOYER meeting for employers of UHMC graduates

·         Thursday, (4/3) 1pm-1:45pm (KA'A'IKE 105) OPEN STUDENT meeting

Following their visit, the team will submit a recommendation to the WASC commission on UHMC’s status as an accredited institution. Team Chair Dr. Paul Gaston will report to the college on the team’s preliminary findings at an Exit Interview from 9:30am-10:00am on Friday, April 4, 2014 in Ka‘a‘ike 105 BCD. The meeting will be televised to outreach sites.
