Provides financial assistance to pay for a respite caregiver to give families a break from the challenging job of caring for an infant or toddler with developmental delays or special needs. Respite care must be identified as a needed service in the Individualized Family Support Plan (IFSP). Families find and use their own respite caregiver. For children with developmental delays (birth to 3 years).

Provides parents a few hours a week of planned time away from caring for their children. Gives the ill child and siblings an opportunity to interact with other children who are going through similar experiences. For children 0 -21 years old with a life threatening illness.

Provides respite for 3 hours one day a week. Designed for children 6 weeks to 5 years old whose
parents are under stress and need time away from the continuous stress of child care. Provides a stimulating and nurturing environment. Provides families in need of additional services with information and referral to other community organization and on-going parent support groups.

Provides individual and family support, which promotes successful community living in the lifestyle of choice and which respects personal preferences, appreciates individual differences and preserves privacy and dignity to people with developmental disabilities, or acquired disabilities due to aging or head injury. Supports may include day service, personal assistance, habilitation, respite, skilled nursing or medically fragile case management. For adults and children with disabilities, and adults with Alzheimer's or dementia.
