I was born and raised in Indonesia. I received my Bachelor’s degree from University of Indonesia and my Master’s degree from University of Hawaii.

I started to show interest in teaching when I was 21 years old, I volunteered in my family’s charity foundation school, teaching Basic English for Survival to underprivileged children. My teaching methodology is rooted in student-centered classroom. My motivation is to motivate and encourage young people and to believe in themselves.

I started teaching Indonesian as a foreign language for Special Warfare Education Group School in Fort Bragg, NC in January of 2014. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor in Indonesian Language at Defense Language Institute for Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). I work as a field support assigned to Marines Special Operation Commands School in North Carolina to teach Marine Special Operators the basic of foreign language. Teaching is my passion especially working with military personnel, it gives me a sense of patriotism because they dedicate their lives to keep our country safe. I am looking forward to dedicate myself in the education world and keep on improving myself for the better. When I am not busy teaching, I enjoy traveling to different places with my husband and running on the beach.
