Exhibit at the Hawaiian & Pacific Collections, Hamilton Library, January - February 2012

Graduate research assistant Alice Kim assembled the "Hawaii Digital Newspaper Project" display in the Hawaiian & Pacific Collections, Hamilton Library. It showcased news articles, advertisements, and political cartoons from the pages of historical Hawaii newspapers. Exhibit captions explained how researchers use those newspaper sections. The conference poster described the project, in which Hamilton Library digitizes various microfilmed Hawaii newspapers for the Chronicling America website. The exhibit ran from mid-January 2012 through February 2012.
