TAACCCT Round 4 – Rural Hawai’i Grant

For Round 4, all seven campuses have formed a consortium to address two sectors with critical workforce education and training needs: Health, a well-established sector with a significant number of incumbent workers in need of both foundation and advanced training; and Cybersecurity, a relatively new but rapidly developing sector which faces training needs for both existing employees as well as the creation of a new class of specialists.

TITLE III GRANTS


Crossing Cultures - Title III Grant

The Statewide UH system and the State Legislature both identified a need for outcome-
based programs to improve the overall number of graduates, improve the numbers of Hawaiian
students graduating, increase STEM graduates, increase PELL Grant recipients, and increase
transfers to UH Baccalaureate Programs.
