Sustainable Ornamental Horticulture Lab

Research in our laboratory focuses on screening, evaluation, propagation and production of ornamental plant materials for landscape and floriculture use.  We are particularly interested in expanding the ornamental use of native Hawaiian plants and other underutilized non-invasive plant materials. We are also interested in research to develop more sustainable ornamental production practices.
