Algebraic Statistics 2020
University of Hawai'i at Manoa
Honolulu, HI

2020 Virtual Conference:  While we look forward to seeing everyone in 2021, we feel like that is a long time away!  In the meantime, we will host a mini virtual Algebraic Statistics conference from June 22 - June 26, 2020 so that members of the algebraic statistics community can share current research with one another and learn about new results from one another. The virtual talks will be held between 7:00 am HST - 8:50 am HST each day. Register for the virtual conference (you will receive the link for viewing immediately after registering).

AS2020 e-Socializing:
  • We will be using Google Meet for informal chats after each day's talks finish. (The advantage of Meet over Zoom is there is nobody moderating, so it's more like gathering at a coffee table after the last talk.)
  • There are 5 such Meet "chat rooms" scheduled each day. Participants are free to join/leave any of them at any time. (We can create more if needed.)
  • The codes for each Meet will be announced when the last lecture ends.
  • We ask the more experienced members of the community to make sure junior participants and researchers new to algebraic statistics feel included in the chats and have a round of introductions as necessary in each group.

COVID-19 Update:  We are postponing the conference until 2021.  The new dates will be May 17 - May 21, 2021
