It's Personal - CDW'16 Line Up

There's a packed three-day programme planned this year - Desso is exploring
'Personalisation, Individuality and Uniqueness' - and Tarkett takes inspiration from 'Play' to celebrate the
launch of the new 'Floor is the new Playground' concept.

The themes will underpin the talks, workshops and activities each day and a unique Transitions art installation
by Foldability designer and rising star Kyla McCallum will be unveiled in the showroom window.

Highlights you won't want to miss...

Two inspiring talks to bring the themes of this year's event to life further:

On Tuesday 24th May, Desso and Tarkett in partnership with OnOffice magazine will host a Scarlet Opus
trend forecast to share the latest thinking on Personalisation and Individuality in Design.

The second must see talk is on Thursday 26th May when design journalist Katie Treggiden will be 'In Conversation'
with three designers sharing their thoughts on the growing trend for personalisation.

Trevor Flynn from Drawing at Work returns on Wednesday 25th May to challenge the Clerkenwell creative
community to sharpen their pencils and unleash their creativity.

Hot off the Hoxton Mini Press, the 'Makers of East London' book about designer makers has been receiving rave reviews -
and a selection of the designers' work is being exhibited in the showroom.
We've also got two workshops taking place with the makers  - register here to book a place.

Bringing the three days to a close, The Floor is Yours open mic event makes a welcome return to the festival
on Thursday 26th May. Architects, designers and interior designers will be lifting the roof off to perform with
acoustic accompaniment.

...and much, much more.
