Congratulations AP Chem Class of 14-15

The AP scores are posted, and I am very proud to say that you all are exactly as awesome as we predicted! Our pass rate this year was 68%, which happens to be 16 percentage points above the national average of 52%. We can also boldly be proud of how many of our students not only passed, but passed well. Four of our Hart kids earned a 5 on the exam, and six earned a 4. These statistics also put us above the nation. Nationally, only 24% of AP chem students earned a 4 or a 5, BUT 36% of our Hart kids did. Way to go guys, I am so very proud of all your hard work last year!

To the class of 15-16: Now let's see if we can beat that!

ScoreBoard is an online program like Connect + made by our textbook publishers. It offers two kinds of services for us: (1) The Personal Learning Plan, and (2) 4 full length practice AP tests. This is the time of year where you might want to start filling in the gaps in your chemistry knowledge. Working through the Personal Learning Plan (which is supposed to take about 10 hours) can help you identify where your weak points are and fill in the gaps. Please take advantage of this tool! It's basically a high tech review book :)

Here is the link and the code to sign up for ScoreBoard, our free online AP review program:

Use your current Connect + login info to link it to your Connect + account.
