• Attendance is important and directly related to your success in school. Class participation correlates with attendance. Therefore, when students are not in class they cannot participate in coursework or discussion and earn those points. Tardies will result in the following: All Tardies: cannot take daily/pop reading quiz and will lose participation points. Administrative consequences will be assigned according to the expectations and guidelines of the William S. Hart Union High School District and Saugus High School student handbook. To avoid a tardy, student should be in their seats when the bell rings. Attendance can be tracked on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Students are responsible to obtain the material missed from an absence or tardy.
